Complete Book of Correspondences by Sandra Kynes
One of my most consulted books in my personal library. From moon phases and Gods/Goddesses to colors and plants, this is one of the best reference books you could have on hand. While I read most books on my phone or e-reader, I 100% recommend buying the physical copy.
The Elements of Spellcrafting by Jason Miller
Jason Miller is one of my favorite authors on the subject of magic, and I have nearly all of his books. So, unsurprisingly, he makes the list. This book breaks down spellcasting (setting it up and executing it) as well as troubleshooting issues you may have along the way.
Candles are an important component to several magical traditions and are called for in several rituals and spells. This book goes in-depth on using, making, and reading candles. I also have a physical copy of this book and highly recommend grabbing the physical version. Not only because it’s useful, but also because it is so beautifully designed!
Hoodoo for Life by Angelie Belard
For those interested in learning and practicing Hoodoo, this is an excellent collection to start getting your hands dirty. While it is for beginners in this tradition, it is wise to have a general foundation of magical practices and belief systems before diving in.
